What does the 5-year extended warranty cover?
The New Leaf warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures beyond the manufacturer's original warranty — compressor failures, motor burnouts, heating element failures, control board malfunctions, pump failures, and all internal components. It does not cover cosmetic damage, accidental damage, or normal wear items like filters and light bulbs.
When does coverage start?
Coverage begins the day after your manufacturer's warranty expires (typically 1 year from purchase) and runs for 5 years. Combined with the manufacturer's warranty, you get up to 6 full years of protection.
Is there a deductible or service fee?
No. Zero deductibles, zero service fees, zero out-of-pocket costs for covered repairs. One-time payment covers the full 5-year term.
I bought my appliance 4 months ago — am I eligible?
Yes — within 6 months gets standard pricing. Between 6–9 months, you can still enroll with a 25% late fee. After 9 months, the appliance is no longer eligible. Proof of purchase is always required.
How does the 50% back coupon work?
If your appliance completes the 5-year term with zero service claims, you redeem 50% of the warranty purchase price back from New Leaf as a coupon. Protected if something breaks, money back if it doesn't.

What is Asurion Appliance+ and how is it different from the New Leaf warranty?

My appliance is more than 9 months old. What are my options?
