Dryer Tip: Clean the Lint Trap Every Load

After every load, remove and clean the lint screen inside your dryer.

Dryer repair

Why it matters:

• Improves drying time

• Reduces energy usage

• Prevents overheating

• Helps prevent dryer fires

Even if it doesn’t look “that dirty,” lint builds up fast and blocks airflow.

Bonus Tip: Once a month, rinse the lint screen with warm water and let it fully dry before putting it back. Fabric softener sheets can leave a residue that blocks airflow.

If your dryer is still taking too long to dry or feels extra hot, it may need a deeper vent cleaning. That’s when it’s time to call us

If an appliance isn’t functioning properly, the first thing to try is a simple reset:

👉 Turn off the breaker to the appliance or unplug it (if accessible)

👉 Leave it off for 5–10 minutes

👉 Restore power and try again

Why this helps:

• Clears minor electronic glitches

• Resets control boards and sensors

• Often restores normal operation without a service call

If the issue continues after the reset, call Renah Appliance for professional service — we’re happy to help get things running properly again.
